Personal Background
As a full time realtor, I bring my experience from design, entitlement and construction to my real estate practice. I began my career, right out of college, in Landscape Architecture and quickly realized that I would excel in Real Estate. After a stint as a Development Manager for Prometheus Real Estate Group entitling and managing multi-family housing projects, I moved my career north to Marin County and began in Real Estate sales. The dynamic nature of the Real Estate market requires a professional with integrity, confidence and determination, all characteristics that mark my personality as well as professional ambition. My experience in the world of Real Estate development provided an excellent foundation in real estate finance, contract negotiation and transaction management.
My home is Marin county and my knowledge of the local real estate market, as well as local resources serves my clients well. There is no better tool for pricing a listing or assessing the value of a home than current knowledge of market data. I am relentless when it comes to previewing current listings and am gifted in identifying value and understand the strengths and weaknesses of a property. My years in real estate sales as well as commercial real estate have given me a firm understanding of real estate principals, and that, paired with my local market knowledge make me an invaluable resource for buyers and sellers alike. Because of my deep roots in this community, I will be an exceptional resource when it comes to local schools, parks, clubs and recreation.
I live in a 1920s bungalow in San Anselmo with my husband and 2 daughters. I am passionate about giving back and investing in my community and do so by spending countless hours and dollars supporting causes I believe in!

Lita Collins began working as a full time Realtor in 2010. Throughout her career she has seen the Marin County market through its highest highs and lowest lows. She is experienced, level headed, possesses a solution based attitude, is highly motivated and strives to make the transition of buying or selling a home as seamless as possible. Lita has consistently been awarded as a top producer from 2015 through present, and was the sole recipient of the Rising Star Award in 2015 from the Marin Association of Realtors for her "leadership, fresh ideas, new insights, perspectives and a wonderful can-do attitude." She has served a three year term on the Board of Directors at the Marin Association of Realtors from 2016 through 2018.
Lita grew up in Marin County and has lived in Ross, Corte Madera and Mill Valley, and she currently resides in the Sleepy Hollow neighborhood of San Anselmo.
